Your portrait

Intimate portrait photography
I photograph people in black and white to make space for what is quiet — not to simplify, but to remove the noise that often sits between a face and the viewer.
These portraits are made slowly. I work with minimal direction, paying attention to light, distance, and the moment a person stops performing. What interests me is not expression, but presence — the point where someone settles into themselves.
The session
A portrait session starts with a short introduction — a calm moment to align on intention, location, and the kind of presence you want the portrait to hold. I work with simple light and clear choices, keeping the process quiet and focused.
During the shoot we move slowly. Small shifts in distance, posture, and breathing matter more than direction. The goal is not to create a version of you, but to arrive at something true — an image that feels like recognition rather than performance.
